The Mesa County Board of County Commissioners (BoCC) re-appointed Quint Shear for a three-year term to the Mesa County Federal Mineral Lease District (MCFMLD) Board of Directors.
Shear’s term will go from January 15, 2021 to January 15, 2024.

Janet Rowland was appointed to fill the County Commissioner seat on the Board, that is required by the MCFMLD Bylaws.

Former County Commissioner John Justman served on the Board from 2014-2021.

The MCFMLD serves a mission to enhance positive social and economic impact in Mesa County from the development, processing and energy conversion of fuels and minerals leased under the Federal “Mineral Lands Leasing Act” through strategic grants, partnerships, investments and leadership.
