David Ludlam Honored for Service to Mesa County Federal Mineral Lease District

GRAND JUNCTION, CO – Board President David Ludlam stepped down from the Mesa County Federal Mineral Lease District (MCFMLD) Board of Directors on August 15, 2018.

Ludlam gave the Board of Directors his resignation notice at the July 18, 2018 meeting, citing his new position with Colorado Mesa University, for his resignation. Ludlam has been with the Mesa County Federal Mineral Lease District since its inception in 2011.

Fellow Board of Directors Craig Springer and John Justman presented Ludlam with a plaque for his service and commitment to the District and the citizens of Mesa County.

“Because of the good work that David Ludlam has done, the contribution he has made of to this Board has been significant. He has been chairman for five of the seven years of the District, helped to oversee the granting of over $7 million dollars into Mesa County organizations and spearheaded the creation of the permanent fund. David’s vision and direction has created a lasting impact not only for the District, but the citizens of Mesa County for decades to come,” said board member Craig Springer.

The MCFMLD Board of Directors are appointed by the Mesa County Commissioners. David Ludlam filled the position of oil and gas representative for the MCFMLD.
